EHRS  ‘All Things Jewish’ Day Trip to Cambridge
Cambridge University, Medieval Jewish Cambridge and the Woolf Institute

Join Rabbi Mark Goldsmith for a day in Cambridge. We will begin at the Woolf Institute with a specially held seminar for us in their home at Westminster College, Cambridge. Dr Ed Kessler MBE, Director of the Institute, will teach us about Jewish-Christian-Muslim relations. We will then enjoy a buffet lunch catered for us at the beautiful new Beth Shalom Reform Synagogue followed by a walking tour (about a mile in length, with plenty of rest stops) of medieval Jewish Cambridge led by local historian Dr Eva Simmons, and finally some time to wander in this beautiful city.

There are 34 places available.
Cost £35, includes return coach travel from EHRS, all admissions, lunch and refreshments

Rabbi Neil Kraft retires in April 2020 after 18 years of dedicated service to the Synagogue. We intend to recruit a new Rabbi to join EHRS’s team.
To start the process of listening to members’ thoughts on EHRS’s future rabbinic needs, we invite all members of the community to a facilitated evening, with the opportunity to hear from others and express your thoughts what is important for you in the roles of our new rabbi.
EHRS members of all ages and stages of involvement are welcome to join us for this informative morning.

Tables of 8 - 10, so please bring your friends along to enjoy the evening.
